King’s Coronation Family Fun Day
Papworth Everard Playing Fields
Sunday 7th May from 12 noon – 6.00 pm
Celebrate the coronation with a day of family fun day! There will be lots of great stalls, food and drink, a Punch & Judy show, trampolines and face painting, a DJ and even a dog show! Plus lots more!
Coronation Big Lunch, St Ives
Sunday 7th May from 12 noon
St Ives Town Council are putting together a huge event with seating for 300 people! Bring along a picnic and join in the festivities with the rest of the town in the Market Square! There’ll be music, yarnbombing displays, stalls and hobby horse races!
Party in the Park, Somersham
Monday 8th May from 2:00 pm
Join them for live bands, food, drinks, and free children’s rides will be available at the Millennium Sports Field. Bring your own blankets and chairs, and enjoy the performances from Rock Therapy and Mizmerize. There will also be stalls and free face painting and glitter tattoos.
King’s Coronation Garden Party
Fort St. George, Cambridge
Saturday 6th May from 12 noon
With the celebrations kicking off at 12 noon you’ll be able to enjoy some great food, drinks, a BBQ and plenty of live music. We couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the coronation on Midsummer Common!
Clay Farm Coronation Event, Trumpington
Saturday 6th May from 10:30 am – 2:30 pm
Watch the coronation live with free refreshments and cake in their Eva Hartree Hall! Enjoy the royal photo booth and dress-up props and lots of coronation-themed crafts, dedicated screening of the coronation starts at 11.00 am – this will be a great event to take the kids to!
The Big Coronation Picnic, Fenstanton
Sunday 7th May from 1:00 pm
Join in on this big picnic in Fenstanton, bring along some tables and chairs and soak up the atmosphere! There’s live music, a hog roast, bbq, cakes, traditional games, races and much more! There will also be a vintage vehicle display to enjoy, royal fancy dress and crown making.
